Default Scarab SC pipe dream

I've decided I don't have enough time to build an uprated trailing arm and brake for the front end, so it's going to be cut brake shoes and an Ape spring. Bending the tubing took long enough just figuring out the wooden jigs to get the long, sweeping bends. So far I've spent 2 days just lining up and tacking the frame with probably a couple more days to go. Instead of a stock speedo it's getting a programmable Trailtech speedo.
I hope the other build off bikes post up here soon to give me some motivation. Good luck to you.

I'm still working on the frame and it's taking even longer than I guessed after getting the first 4 rails in place. Test fitting the headset I'm going to have to add another inch of height to fit in the speedo.

Still working on the frame. The under-seat area is together and just needs reinforcing rungs. The cases are going out this week for welding and the crank should be back before New Years with an RM125 conrod.

Engine mounts in. No pics because it wouldn't really be noticeable in a jpg, but the front rails are straight and ready for the fork to go in next. Thank you to the P frame that I stole the engine mount and steering neck from.

Thanks to Hank Norush for the enlarged exhaust stub. I included one of the original sketches I did last March.

Steering neck in...more rungs added, and after the pics solidified the engine mount. The super fork and VBB motor are just for mock up.

Foot board and leg shield braces are in. The tail is done and the cowl mounts are 90% there. Since I've only got 3 more weekends and the cases are with FedEx still needing porting I'm just going to try to get this bike rat-ready for Vegas. Other than a mulligan entry I won't be trying the build off again unless I've got an experienced partner.
